Taken at the Panama Canal in Dec 2005...this gigantic Celebrity Cruise ship came through the locks. It barely fit through, and as I ate lunch at the restaurant, all of the people on the ship started clapping. And then, all the people in the restaurant started clapping. Soon, the deck of the boat was full of people clapping and hooting along with the people in the restaurant. It got to a point where I heard someone say in spanish, "Why is everyone applauding?" It was weird. That's my friend Rosie at the end.
